Inaugural Season Sets the Foundation for Lady Seahawks Flag Football

SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla. - Every program has a first snap. For South Walton girls flag football, the 2025-26 season was that first snap, and the Lady Seahawks made it count.

Competing in FHSAA Class 2A District 1, South Walton finished its inaugural 2025-26 campaign 6-8 overall. That first season established the program's foundation heading into 2027.

The Hawks Nest is the Lady Seahawks' home stadium at South Walton High School in Santa Rosa Beach. The program now looks ahead to its next season of flag football.

That momentum now points to 2027. The Lady Seahawks open February 23 at Washington, with six home dates on the schedule at the Hawks Nest. The foundation is poured. Year two is about building on it.
